Debuting in Mexico City during Zona Maco Art Week in February 2026, LA SALA is an innovative global event series that transforms the traditional "white cube" into an intimate, traveling living room gallery. This inaugural installment showcased a diverse roster of 15 artists and designers within a space that evolved into a palpable living canvas, mapping layered histories of belonging. Designed to redefine how audiences connect with creativity, the series will tour major cities worldwide—bringing a curated blend of art, music, and in-depth conversation to diverse communities through a lens of thoughtful hospitality.

The CDMX installment, "SANCTUM," transcends the traditional white cube, showcasing a diverse roster of artists where the space itself evolves into a palpable, living canvas. The work brought forth by the participating artists and designers will collectively chart an intimate landscape where memory is both a foundation and a protective boundary. Through media ranging from collage and sculpture to photography, the exhibition examines the construction of personal and cultural space, demonstrating how domesticity functions as an archive of identity and a site of radical self-possession.

The exhibition features a diverse roster of artists working in various media.
